Granular A

"A Gravel" is comprised of crushed stone and includes pieces as large as 3/4" down to fine dust this product is used for building road bases.

Screened Sand

Screened sand is where the stones have been removed.  Ideal for backfilling hydro trenches or applications where uniform texture is desired.

Septic Stone 3/4" - 2"

A mixed selection of various sizes of natural stone for use in filter bed systems to allow for maximum drainage.

Granular B

"B Gravel" is a crushed stone and sand mixture that is used for driveways and other projects as a base that is compacted.

River Rock 3" - 8"

Decorative natural round stone available in a variety of diameters for use in landscaping applications around foundations, raised beds or fountains.

Landscape Boulders

Large boulders used in shoreline rehabilitation or landscaping applications.  Placing stones requires the use of heavy equipment.

Filterbed Sand

Filterbed sand has the perfect grain size to allow water to filter through effectively and is used in the installation of septic systems.

3/4" Clear Crushed 

This product is made by crushing larger stones into pieces no larger than 3/4" it is screened to remove fines but not washed.  Ideal for drainage applications. 

Sand Fill

Sand fill is natural unscreened sand as it comes out of the pit, an excellent solution for filling low spots where porosity is desired.

HL8 Round Stone

Available washed and unwashed HL8 round stone is no larger than 1" and no smaller than 1/4".  HL8 is the industry standard where maximum drainage is required.

LIMESTONE PRODUCTS

Crusher Run

Available in 3/4" or 2" types each includes crushed limestone along with fines down to dust.  The name indicates the largest dimension of the pieces.  Strong base material for driveways, lanes and foundations.

Limstone
Screenings

Uniform sized limestone particles 1/4" in size with the fine dust.  A hand workable product for levelling interlocking brick and stone patios and walkways and other similar projects.

Gabion
Stone

Clear limestone chunks free of dust and fines used for filling wire gabion baskets for retaining walls etc.  The gabion stone is avialable in a variety of sizes as determined by the application.

High Performance
Bedding

HPB is similar to limestone screenings but with no dust or fines so it has superior drainage properties which has benefits for interlocking stone applications as it can reduce frost heaving.

SOIL PRODUCTS

Unscreened
Topsoil

Nutrient rich topsoil as removed from the source.  This material is not screened so application by machinery is recommended.

Screened Topsoil
(Coarse)

The same nutrient rich topsoil is broken up and run through a course screen to make the product more workable for garden beds.

Screened Topsoil
(Fine)

Nutrient rich topsoil that has been screened to a fine consistency to allow for maximum hand workability for top dressing lawns.

Triple Mix
Soil

Manure, peat and topsoil make for the gardeners secret weapon.  Triple-mix helps the soil regain its nutrients and moisture retention.

RECYCLED PRODUCTS

Asphalt

Recycled asphalt, RAP or R.A.P is recycled pavement crushed to a 3/4" size.  RAP packs well and makes a smooth surface.  When applied in warm weather the bonding properties are excellent and the surface can be regraded as required over the years.

As removed from the source a mixed material including subsoil, sand, clay, rubble, brick and other clean stable aggregates, for the budget conscious the cheapest way to raise a low lying location.
